A FEW OF OUR GROWS!
We worry about companies that sell spawn but don't grow mushrooms!
We have several grow rooms where we produce fresh mushrooms for market and experimentation. We test every strain we sell. Enjoy the following pictures. They will show you the level of cultivation skills we have achieved.
One of our better Black Poplar Strains. This is
Agrocybe aegerata
Atricoz Strain. Nice consistant flushes! Some say it tastes like bacon.
Hypsizygus tessulatus
Ralph E strain: Beech Mushroom can be a bear to fruit out, but man is it good. Ranks among the best edibles on Earth in our opinion
Our
Agaricus blazei
strain fruiting from cased bag of compost, bran, straw and gypsum. This was an experimental grow. This strain is not too difficult to fruit if you get the substrate mixture right. Among the most valuable, medicinal and delicious mushroom species on the planet!
Pholiota nameko,
A.K.A. Slimy Cap Mushroom, fruiting on pure organic Rye grain. This species is very popular in Asia and is gaining in popularity in the USA. Easy to produce and prolific
This is our very own King Oyster Tristan Strain. Simply amazing pinset and fruit right out of the bag. We are experimenting with growing this one using straw lime bath because it is such prolific fruiter. Growing mush can be torture at times but when it pays off like this, it is a real rush!
Aloha's Bratslavian Oyster fruited out at 45 degrees to trigger very dark pigmentation. This is one of our most productive and lovely oyster strains
Our very own Phoenix Oyster Allen 1strain developed by Mycotek's Jeff Allen. We offer this lovely creature exclusively. Ruffled and variagated and just plain beautiful. Pictured here with a pink oyster which pales in comparison
This is our Red Reishi AF1
(Ganoderma lucidum
) strain. Slow to fruit in bags but worth the wait. Also very productive when spawned to hardwood logs, especially cherry.
Shaggy Mane,
Coprinus commatus,
experimental grow. We don't know of too many folks that have ever successfully grown this species indoors!

"Look for the
mushrooms"
One of two sterile labs where we do all of our agar work. Small but effective!
Secondary lab room (antechamber) with four foot laminar flow hood. We mostly use this hood for knocking up bulk substrate and sawdust spawn bags or breaking up plugs for resale.
